Wanted Telugu Movie Story:
A routine tale, the story begins with Rambabu (gopichand) who is more of a vagabond and interestingly, he is also the pampered child of his parents (chandramohan, jayasudha). His life takes a turn with the arrival of Nandini (deeksha), a medical college student. Rambabu falls in love with her at first sight and in no time, even Nandini responds. However, there is a reason why Nandini accepts Rambabu. She is on a mission and that is to kills one dreaded gangster Basivi Reddy (prakashraj). Who is Basivi Reddy? Why does Nandini want to kill him? Whether she is successful or not forms the rest of the story.
Wanted Telugu Movie Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was alright, the narrative was very weak. The dialogues were simple, the script was having hiccups and the screenplay got elongated. Background score was good and two songs were nice. Cinematography is the highlight of the film. Editing was alright but was not sharp at the required places. Costumes were trendy while the art department was appealing. Gopichand has come up with a good performance and his attempt at comedy was nice. Deeksha is a visual feast and while her glamour is one end, she needs to work on her performance skills. Prakashraj was regular. Nasser was impressive, Chandramohan and Jayasudha were regular, Ali brought few smiles, Subbaraju was apt, Brahmi was disappointing, the others didn't have much to offer.
Wanted Telugu Movie Conclusion:
The film has got an interesting storyline but then the execution of the script was not done effectively which hampers the momentum. The opening is excellent and while the first half looks somewhat okay, it is the second half where the real story begins and manages to get some attention. However, there were many ups and downs during the narrative which doesn't put the audience in focus. Overall, the film scores high on technical and production values but doesn't work out in execution. At the box office, this could be a below average treat.
